Bodmin Way Youth Club enjoy team games and a picnic.
Games and activities before the picnic: River/Bank, flip the hoop, group rhythm.
And after the picnic: team hoop move, spin the hoop, butterfly hoops, catch the hoop, soft ball football.
It was great to see everyone joining in and some young people taking the lead.
The picnic basket reminded us of a very famous picnic. Two young people read the short story and we heard about the 12 baskets of food left over.
We sang happy birthday to one youth club member and enjoyed a piece of his chocolate birthday cake. Dorothy's gift happened to be a model of his favourite locomotive.
The next youth club is on Saturday 9th July, 6.30pm to 7.30pm, at the parish centre next to Priory Park. It’s free and open to 11+.
