Bodmin Way welcomes Amy to the team

Amy Clemow has recently joined Bodmin Way to assist in many and varied projects that help individuals, families, and children in Bodmin. She is working alongside our Pioneer Minister, Rev’d Elaine Munday providing administrative and logistical support. Already she has made an impact in several community activities including Community Space where people come together to enjoy companionship as well as free food and drink.

An important aspect of her work is gathering feedback and data from activities that enables Bodmin Way to evaluate the impact its services are having in the community as well as providing important information to funders.

The Ourgate project is also supported by Amy. Many individuals and families struggle with day to day living expenses and message Elaine seeking help. Amy is a great asset in helping to source and arrange food parcels, household items, baby essentials etc.

Another important aspect of the role is promoting and communicating the services provided by  Bodmin Way and signposting people to other agencies that can support them when needed. You will meet her at various events including those mentioned above as well as the community cook-ups in partnership with intoBodmin.

Meeting people face to face, working confidentially to support vulnerable people, working with volunteers and other agencies are great skills that Amy brings to the team. Her previous roles in administrative assistance within schools and charities that support individuals and vulnerable people brings relevant experience to bear. Her degree in Combined Social Sciences and her life experience with four children along with her previous roles means she is a great asset to the Bodmin Way and the people of Bodmin.

Welcome Amy!
