Singing for all

The Community Choir is for everyone.

  • Under 11s are to be accompanied by a family member; 11+ can attend without an adult, by contacting info@bodminway.org.

  • Let us know you intend to sing info@bodminway.org or facebook.com/Bodminwaycommunitycourses.

  • To help cover costs, adults are asked to contribute £2.50 per session and teenagers £1. However, we would not want this charge to prevent anyone from attending the choir.

  • Folders are provided for song lyrics. Copies of musical scores are available on request.

Community Choir SUMMER SINGING.jpg

Summer Singing has started.

The sun has been shining for our first two sessions and summer dresses have been worn!

It's been a pleasure to welcome new singers to the group.

Young people who attain choir and SPY Network had a sailing weekend at the end of June. We sang our choir songs as our boats sailed side by side with the ocean as our audiance!

Summer Singing has continued.

We've been rehearsing 'Walking on Sunshine', 'Summertime', 'Who will Buy?' and 'Let's Go Fly a Kite'.

The choir will perform on Mount Folly at Bodmin Town's market on Saturday 29 July at 11am - Singing as you shop!

Spring 2023

Spring Sing

Spring Sing

At the first of six sessions, more than 25 attended the all age and all ability choir. We are singing a musical that includes syncopated rock rhythms as well as more gentle numbers that tell the familiar Holy Week and Easter story in a dramatised way. The choir will perform the musical in The Old Library, on intoBodmin's main stage, on Saturday 8 April at 2pm and on Sunday 9 April at 10am in St Petroc's Church.
