WORKING WITH SCHOOLS
The Bodmin Way team helps children and students of all ages in schools, toddler groups and nurseries in a number of ways that enable learning and wellbeing.

Giving school children and students a lift in life
Wellbeing, improving mental health, enabling fun and helping people are what we believe in at the Bodmin Way. A combination of grants procured by The Bodmin Way and donations from church members fund supporting schools.
We cannot describe on the web much of the support to individual children or students as it is very private. However here are some events involving multiple children / students and schools:
-
Supporting outside learning, planting bundles of flowers and vegetables funded by the National Lottery Fund
-
Delivering seeds, compost and bulbs for planting and seeing the pride in youngsters flourish as a result
-
Transforming an area of Bodmin college and enhancing the environment for the good of all
-
Encouraging children to understand where food comes from, summer or winter, and to comprehend food poverty and the foodbank
-
Involving students in Lent Lunches, a community enterprise, enabling learning about managing money, purchasing and customer service
-
Using indoor plants that provide 'learning power' in Bodmin College and a polythene greenhouse
-
Providing Christingle items for various schools to make Christingles when they could not attend church due to Covid
-
Supporting the children of St Petroc's school with an ongoing project of their own Pilgrimage Trail in the school grounds
