St Stephen’s summer stroll

Updated: Jul 9, 2022

On a glorious Thursday afternoon, we took a 3-mile route around Nanstallon.

Being immersed in nature, with its variety of trees, grapevines and flowers, topped with a bright blue sky, was energising. Kensa the dog joined us, and we met a white horse, aptly named Angel.

There was time for deep conversation and reflection as we walked.

On our return, refreshments were served, in the coolness of the church.

Before the circular stroll, some of us walked The Bodmin Way, from St. Petroc’s to St. Stephen’s, along a river route, new to two of us. The peace and quiet felt like a luxury as we made our way along the relaxing track.

There will be a similar walk at harvest time, on Thursday 6th October, leaving St. Stephen’s at 2pm. Everyone welcome.
