Bodmin Way Community Choir performed a musical in The Old Library yesterday afternoon.
The mini musical, by Sheila Wilson, is fifteen minutes long. The café concert's super audience clapped after every song.
Four choir members sang solo.
On Easter Sunday the choir joined the congregation in St Petroc’s Church. They sang a celebratory hymn, ‘See what a morning’, by Stuart Townend. During Communion soloist and choir sang a fitting song from the musical, entitled ‘This is my body’.
Bodmin Way Community Choir will meet again for 'Summer Singing' on Wednesdays, 5pm to 6pm, in the parish centre next to Priory Park, from 14 June to 26 July. The all age choir will perform a summer selection of songs at Bodmin Town Council’s market, on Mount Folly, at 11am on Saturday 29 July, followed by a picnic in the park.
New singers are very welcome to join us.
