👥A Story of Friendship, Music, and Memories
Every Wednesday, Margaret looks forward to attending Time Together friendship group held in Shire House Suite, Bodmin. It’s a chance to enjoy good company, a cup of coffee, and a light lunch while catching up with friends. She’s partial to a game of bingo too! Margaret is always quick to encourage others to come along, knowing how much these gatherings can brighten someone’s day.
Recently, the Bodmin Way Community Choir returned to perform at the café-style gathering. As the music filled the room, Margaret recognised a familiar face sitting on the front row of the choir—Anne Vine, someone she’d met years ago and recalled how Anne attended Bodmin Methodist Church. It was a lovely moment of connection, bringing back fond memories.
Faith and music have long been part of Margaret’s life. For 32 years, she faithfully played the organ at the Methodist Chapel in Lostwithiel.
Although she no longer attends chapel as she once did, her faith and those years of service remain deeply meaningful to her.
We’re so pleased Margaret joins us each week. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and encouragement make the friendship group a brighter place for everyone.
