Making Spirits bright

With gentle stretches, controlled breathing techniques, and a playful tongue twister, our friendly Community Choir eased into its autumn sessions in high spirits, kicking things off with a cheery Christmas medley — getting a festive head start for our November and December performances!
Caroline Bailey, the musical director, shared these words with choir members — including several newcomers attending for the first time: “You are making a lovely, rounded sound. You picked up on my conducting cues and already we’re working as a team.”
Everyone had a blast with the sassy, jazz-infused number "Shoulda Been a North Pole Elf."
Caroline and Debby brought a beautiful new element to our performance this year – teaching the singers how to sign a well-known carol using Makaton! Join us for the big reveal at ‘Bodmin Lights Up’ on Friday, 28th November at Mount Folly. ✨ A magical moment not to be missed! ✨
“I’ve sung all my life,” said Anne Vine, as she sang alongside teenagers and young children in Bodmin Way’s all-age choir.
Everyone who loves to sing is welcome to join Bodmin Way’s Intergenerational Choir! Come along and share the joy of music across all ages.
