Judy’s story – bringing church and community together


👥It was great catching up with Judy at St. Stephen’s Church in the quiet village of Nanstallon, a few miles from Bodmin town, just before Lent.


In this first short video, Judy speaks about being the Focal Minister (a person who leads a worshiping community, commissioned by the bishop, without being an ordained priest) at St. Stephen’s and what she most likes about being a Reader (a person licensed by the bishop to preach and lead services).

 

 

The next short reel is about what is going on in the church and what Judy does in her leisure time.


 

When visitors come to the garden they can choose to sit on either of the two new benches to enjoy a view of the church or a lovely tree. The daffodils were looking lovely.
