At the first of six sessions, more than 25 people attended Bodmin Way Community Choir’s ‘Spring Sing’, with several more planning to attend the remaining sessions. Places are open for anyone to come along whenever they can.
Caroline Bailey, musical director and conductor, teaches us singing skills and breathing techniques as well as the songs themselves. After the first session she said: “It was lovely to see so many folk, some now familiar and some new. It's amazing how quickly you can feel part of something and connected.”
Caroline selected a musical for the choir to learn in just six weeks! It’s a mini musical that takes 30 minutes to perform. It includes syncopated rock rhythms as well as more gentle numbers that tell the familiar Easter story in a dramatised way.
